Atlus have announced the global release date for Shin Megami Tensei V, during today’s Nintendo Direct Mini presentation.

As stated in the press release (via email), the game is the latest entry in the series, the prior fourth entry having launched in 2014.

The game’s plot seems to center around God being dead, and the world quickly falling into chaos. A new being promises the world can be reborn from the old world, shaped by the humans that have survived. We also appear to get the first look at what could be the protagonist.
