Othercide Gameplay Overview Trailer

Othercide

Focus Home Interactive have released a gameplay overview trailer for Lightbulb Crew’s upcoming turn-based tactics game, Othercide.

The gameplay overview trailer details the Dynamic Timeline System; where enemy actions can be delayed and players can create combos with their characters. Building a roster of “Daughters” is also explained, gaining traits depending on how they fight, and skills based on one of three classes. The skills can also be modified for more damage or other effects.

However, Daughters can only be healed by sacrificing the life of another one. The game also supports roguelite elements, granting new upgrades for your next run. Some of these are unlocked as bosses are defeated.

You can find the gameplay overview trailer below

You can find the dev diaries for the game here [1, 2]. Viewers will need to use YouTube’s subtitles feature, as several of the game’s developers speak French.

You can find a rundown of the game (via Steam) below:

Descend into Humanity’s last hope. The Daughters, echoes of the greatest warrior to ever live, are all who stand before Suffering and death.
