Bravely Default II Development “In the Final Stage”

Bravely Default II

The official Japanese Twitter account for Bravely Default II has stated that development is “in the final stage.”

A statement that Japanese mobile title Bravely Default: Fairy’s Effect will be shutting down on August 31st was retweeted by the Bravely Default II official Japanese Twitter account.

The retweet also stated that it was thanks to the success of Fairy’s Effect that work on Bravely Default II could begin, and that development was now almost complete. “Thank you to all BDFE developers and players. And next is our turn…! The development of default 2 is finally in the final stage. Good luck!” (Translation: Google Translate).

A feedback survey had been previously released around the time of the game’s demo, meaning that some aspects had been improved since then.

While the game is almost complete, it is likely there will still be some steps to finalize. This would include voice acting, dub voice acting, and logistical measures. We will keep you informed as we learn more.

You can find the full rundown on the game (via Nintendo) below.
