KO_OP have announced Goodbye Volcano High for Windows PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.
From the PlayStation Blog we know the game is a cinematic, choice-based narrative game. Set in the final year in a class of dinosaurs, players “follow them as they struggle to make their mark on the world, figure out who they’re going to be, and try to find love, all before time runs out and they’re thrust into the world of adulthood.”
The PlayStation 5’s DualSense controller’s haptic feedback even comes into play when non-binary main character Fang has to make a difficult decision, “you feel that pressure as the player.”
The game will also have 4K backgrounds, audio and music by Dabu (audio director for Boyfriend Dungeon and Winding Worlds), and vocals by Brigitte Naggar. Fang will also be voiced by Lachlan Watson (The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina).

IT’S THE END OF AN ERA
Fang is a typical 18-year-old dinosaur: they’re more concerned about their band going viral than they are about what happens after graduation. But they’re about to have much bigger problems. Will they find time to figure themselves out? Can they balance a potential apocalypse and a budding romance? During hard times, what do we owe each other?
Goodbye Volcano High is a cinematic narrative adventure about the beginning of a love story… and the end of an era.
