Blankos Block Party Summer of Gaming Trailer

Play Mythical have revealed a new gameplay trailer for Blankos Block Party during IGN’s Summer of Gaming.

With developers who had worked on Skylanders and World of Warcraft, Blankos Block Party features a world where vinyl collectible figures come to life and cause havoc. Players build and create their own worlds (the titular Block Parties),

While the game is free to play, players will be able to train their Blanko “up to a point,” and then use in-game cash to acquire other Blankos. Seasonal content was also hinted at during the interview with IGN.

The game will also have a single-player mode, though playing single-player, multiplayer, and user-generated content unlocks customization options for Blankos. As aformentioned, a Blanko can be “trained” to be good at various tasks, such as shooting or running.

Vinyl artists also contributed to the game, submitting their own artwork to be used in the game. Finally, a beta will be available toward the end of this year.
