Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX Announced

Sega and Merge Games have announced Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX at IGN’s Summer of Gaming event.

As stated in IGN’s coverage, the game is a remake of the 1986 Sega Master System platformer. Along with updated graphics, the game has new levels and “story elements,” altered boss fights, a boss rush mode along with other new modes.

Mechanics and menus have also been “tweaked.” The game also has a Classic Mode, with its original graphics, boss fights, dialogue, levels, and more.
