Death Come True Confirmed for Western Release, Worldwide Launch June 2020

Death Come True

Game director Kazutaka Kodaka (the Dangan Ronpa series) has confirmed that FMV murder-mystery Death Come True will release worldwide, confirming it for a western release.

The news comes via Kodaka’s Twitter account. In his tweets [1, 2], he stated “Death Come True will be released worldwide! We support subtitles in 10 languages including English, French, Italian, German, Spanish and Chinese!” It was also confirmed the game would support Latin American Spanish, Korean, Thai, and Vietnamese.

As stated on the official website, the story follows Makoto Karaki. After waking up in a hotel room with no memory, he discovers a tied up and fainted woman in his room, along with a new report on the TV saying he is a serial killer.

Alongside members of the Special Investigation Division, Kataki attempts to uncover the mystery around himself, the hotel, the bizarre guests and staff, and the “monster” relentlessly pursuing him.

Judging by an earlier teaser trailer (below) it appears when Karaki dies, he keeps the full memory of his death when the player starts again.

Death Come True launches June 2020 for Windows PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Android, and iOS.
