Originally launched in 2004 for Windows PC in Japan and developed by Key, the story takes place at the Hikarizaka Private High School, and follows the life of Tomoya Okazaki.
The “slice-of-life” antics are interrupted by Okazaki getting glimpses into another world, devoid of all life apart from one girl. Okazaki also meets other endearing girls in his school, and learns more about them in branching storylines.
The original visual novel inspired numerous light novels, audio dramas, manga, anime, and OVAs. The visual novel came to Nintendo Switch in July 2019.
Now, Limited Run Games state the game will be getting its first physical edition on consoles (on Nintendo Switch). Pre-orders will begin April 14th at 12PM ET, and will last six weeks.
