Aspyr have announced they will soon reveal new information about Observer System Redux.

The announcement came via the game’s Facebook group [1, 2, 3, 4, 5], revealing that a “next-gen reveal” would be coming soon. However, Gematsu reports that at one point the banner image stated the full reveal would be coming April 16th.

This may have been an intentional tease, as the game is focused around memory. However, it is more likely a mistake, or a change of plans due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The original 2017 Observer (also stylized as >observer_) takes place in 2048, after the nanophage and ensuing war devastated Poland. Now, Daniel Lazarski (Rutger Hauer) is an Observer, a detective who can hack into people’s minds to interrogate them and learn secrets from their feelings, memories, and fears.
