MiHoYo have announced open-world action RPG Genshin Impact will be coming to Nintendo Switch, along-side the reveal of a new area.

That area is the nation of Liyue, south of the city of Mondstadt. Liyue Harbor is in fact “the most prosperous merchant port in all of Teyvat.” In addition, the trailer focuses on the characters you can find there.

You can also find the Japanese Nintendo Switch Trailer here, however the contents are similar to the above trailer.

The official website also updated with information regarding changes coming to the game, after its last beta. These include more character-centric missions, and more interactions with plants and wildlife, and legendary materials to find.

In thanks to the support the game has received, MiHoYo also announced a new skin would be coming to the game.

“In honor of this support we have received, we have decided to make a commemorative Wind Glider skin — Wings of Companionship. We hope they protect you in your journeys through the sky for many days to come. More details about the exact design of the Wings of Companionship will be released in future announcements, so please continue to follow Genshin Impact.”

You can find the full run-down (via the official website) below:

You have arrived in Teyvat — a fantasy world where the seven elements flow and converge.

In the distant past, the Archons granted mortals unique elemental abilities. With the help of such powers, people formed a bountiful homeland out of the wilderness. However, 500 years ago, the collapse of an ancient civilization turned the universe upside down…
Though the calamity the world suffered has ceased, peace has yet to be restored.

You, as the main character, are a traveler drifted from another world who has awoken in this land. You will explore this wondrous world freely, make friends along the way, and look for “The Seven” — Archons of the seven elements. Every piece of your adventure will unearth something miraculous, and the lost will eventually be found.

Genshin Impact launches 2020 on Windows PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Android, and iOS.
