Victoria Miniatures is currently running a fundraiser for Australian bushfire relief.
The miniature company is based in Adelaide, Australia, and specializes in 28mm resin miniatures and conversion bits for wargamers and painters. Their designs are particularly popular with Imperial Guard players looking to run some more exotic Guardsmen regiments.
Being an Australian company, Victoria Miniatures has decided to donate $50 to the South Australian RSPCA (Royal Society for the Protection of Animals) for each Kangaroo APC kit sold in the month of January. The kits sold during this period will include a free hedgerow cutter attachment.
At the time of writing, Victoria Miniatures have announced that they have sold 86 of the 150 Kangaroo APCs in 24 hours, raising $4,300 for charity.
The Kangaroo APC is a 28mm resin kit based on the company’s previous Matilda tank. It includes three turret weapon options (Twin Heavy Bolter, Twin Flamer, Multi Laser Cannon) and two hull gun options (Flamer or Heavy Bolter). The kit sells for $64.99. Victoria Miniatures also offers free worldwide shipping on orders over $100.
