A new listing on Netflix has pointed to a western release for the animated film Dragon Quest: Your Story.

The 2019 movie adaptation of Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride was released only in Japan, with no word on when or if a western release is planned. Here’s a brief synopsis on the film:

Luca follows in his father’s footsteps to rescue his mother from evil Ladja. Finding the heavenly hero who wields the Zenithian sword is his only hope.

The movie is categorized as “exciting”, and under the genres “anime for gamers”, “Japanese movies,” and “anime based on a video game.” In case you missed it, you can find the debut trailer for the movie here.

The movie is not a direct adaptation of the game, and had some mixed responses from fans in Japan. It’s also worth pointing out this is not a Netflix-produced movie, rather it was a collaborative film by Shirogumi and Robot Communications, with Square Enix, Yuji Horii (the series creator), and more supervising.
