Atlus has released a new trailer for Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers.
Featured above, the new trailer introduces Makoto Niijima. Armed with her tekko and revolvers, Makoto relentlessly pummels foes. Tekko are essentially weaponized stirrups and horseshoes, functioning much like knuckledusters. The tekko and its martial arts style originate from Okinawa, Japan.
Makoto’s Persona Johanna is the Nuclear element, and has healing capabilities–at least in Persona 5 itself. Nuclear abilities also typically do extra damage to enemies suffering from certain status effects. We will keep you updated as we learn more about this game’s mechanics.
Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers is launching February 20th, 2020 in Japan for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4.
