Compile Heart has announced (via Dengeki) VVVtunia, the latest game in the Neptunia series.
The new spinoff is coming to PlayStation 4 sometime next year in Japan, and is a 10th anniversary title for the series, while also celebrating the 25th anniversary of Compile Heart’s parent company, Idea Factory. Featured above, you can view a teaser trailer for the game.
As the game is a spinoff, the four goddesses team up with the virtual idol group Mewtral, in the hopes of saving the digital world “Virtual Land.” Mewtral is made up of six idols, with only the first two confirmed thus far – Yuu and Mii. Gameplay is likened to a more casual shooter, where the four goddesses will battle enemies while the virtual idols can attack as well.
