Nintendo has announced the Nintendo Switch has sold over 41.67 million units.

The new milestone includes worldwide sales, and was reached as of September 30th, 2019 – news confirmed in their latest earnings release.

In total, 4.8 million Switch consoles and 35.88 million pieces of software were sold in the three months that ended in September. The recently launched Nintendo Switch Lite makes up 1.95 million units of that figure. Nintendo did not alter their previous sales forecast of 18 million Switch consoles, for this fiscal year.

Another milestone to note is The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening remake, which sold over 3.13 million units since its launch last month.
