Netmarble Announces Ni No Kuni Smartphone Game

South Korean developer Netmarble have announced they are developing Ni no Kuni Cross Worlds for smartphones.

The project was announced alongside Seven Knights Revolution, A3: STILL ALIVE, and Magic: Mana Strike. All four games are set to be unveiled at G-Star 2019 in Busan, South Korea (running from November 14th to November 17th).

Netmarble describes their Ni no Kuni game as a smartphone MMO, utilizing 3D graphics and animated cutscenes. Players collect and raise spirits called “Imazen.” Players also form their own Kingdoms, and the game’s social systems allows players to assist each other and build their guilds.

Netmarble were founded in 2000, and have developed smartphone and browser games including Dragon Ball Online, Marvel: Future Fight, SD Gundam Capsule Fighter, and Star Wars: Force Arena.
