A new report (via Deadline) has confirmed the long-planned Uncharted live-action movie has got another new director.
Former director Dan Tratchenberg has departed from the project, with Travis Knight stepping up to attempt managing the film.
Knight is known for his work at Laika, the stop-motion animation studio behind films like Coraline, ParaNorman, and The Boxtrolls. He acted as both producer and lead animator on those movies, but it’s worth pointing out the Uncharted film will reportedly be live-action.
Despite the directorial shake up, Sony is sticking by their December 18th, 2020 premiere date.
