Bayonetta 2 Director Reveals Concept Art by Tatsuya Yoshikawa for Unannounced Project

Bayonetta 2 director Yusuke Hashimoto has shared some concept art for an unannounced project.

Featured above, the new artwork was designed by Tatsuya Yoshikawa.

While Yusuke left Platinum Games in February of this year, we have not heard any reports of what he was doing next. We now have the smallest hint in the form of concept art shared on Twitter, drawn by Tatsuya Yoshikawa.

Tatsuya Yoshikawa has previously created concept art for Haunting Ground and Star Fox Zero, as well as character designs for the Breath of Fire and Devil May Cry series.

At this stage, we really have no other information about what the project could be. We are not even aware of the game’s developer or publisher.

Due to Yusuke directing Star Fox Zero and the depiction of a woman riding a dragon, there is a slim chance the game will be a similar style of shooter to Star Fox or Panzer Dragoon. In fact, both the woman and dragon appear to be carrying rifles. Thanks to his work on Bayonetta 2 however, an action game cannot be ruled out.

We will keep you informed as we learn more.
