Kojima Productions showed off a bunch of new gameplay and gameplay details for Death Stranding at this year’s Gamescom.
We learned that protagonist Sam (protrayed by Norman Reedus) can go pee whenever he wants to. However, when Sam takes out his penis to go tinkle, game director Hideo Kojima confirmed players won’t be able to accidentally (or purposefully for some of you) see his member.
“About the urine part, I have to say. It’s late enough to discuss about that, right?” Kojima said through a translator. “If you try to move the camera and try to see what he’s doing, Sam will move away so you’ll never see, actually, what he’s doing.”
He added, “Also, there’s an option where you cannot release yourself like that if people are near you. So, don’t worry Norman fans…you don’t have to worry about that.”
Kojima was of course asked if you can use Sam’s piss stream as a weapon.
“Yes, it could be used as a weapon, but also it can be one of the keys, and you’ll find out later,” Kojima said. “You saw the mushroom growing? So, if everyone does it in the same spot you will have something good later on.”
Death Stranding will launch November 8th, for PlayStation 4.
