• Dragon Quest Walk Announced for Smartphones

    Square Enix has announced Dragon Quest Walk.

    The new smartphone game is basically like Pokemon GO, but with Dragon Quest monsters. Featured above, you can view the announcement trailer for the game.

    The battles appear to be just like classic Dragon Quest turn-based combat. The game will let you run into NPCs and landmarks from the Dragon Quest series, by walking to them in real life.

    A beta is planned for the game, on June 11th. You can sign up for the beta over on the game’s official website. Applications can be submitted from now until June 5th.

    Dragon Quest Walk is set to release sometime this year in Japan, for iOS and Android devices.
