Xbox Game Pass is Coming to PC

Microsoft has announced the Xbox Games Pass is coming to PC.

The new service is similar to the Xbox One platform, meaning Windows PC users will be able to instantly access a library of over 100 games – so long as they’re subscribed.

Just like the Xbox One version, the PC pass will provide day-one access to games from Xbox Game Studios on the same day they release worldwide, including newly acquired developers like Obsidian Entertainment and inXile Entertainment.

Xbox Game Pass subscribers on PC will also get discounts up to 20% off select games on the Microsoft Store that are currently in the Games Pass library, and up to 10% off related add-on DLC.

Lastly, Microsoft said they’ll continue to add more games to Steam, including Gears 5 and Age of Empires I, II, and III: Definitive Editions. They also pledged to add full support for Win32 games on the Microsoft Store.

Further details are coming at this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo.
