We are hearing reports claiming an update to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will be adding VR support.
Twitter Bot “SSBUBot” posts news about updates coming to the game, reportedly even 12 hours before Nintendo does. How or why we cannot be sure, but recently the bot made these posts:

While the first tweet is of note, subsequent tweets also noted updates to FP Fighters and Amiibo functionality. Along with being able to train the FP Fighters, it seems you may be able to use them online in matches against other FP Fighters.
While Nintendo did hint that Nintendo Labo VR functionality would be coming to more games in the future (starting with Super Mario Odyssey and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild), we can only wait and see if the news turns out to be genuine. We will keep you informed as we learn more.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is available now for Nintendo Switch. In case you missed it, you can find our thorough review for the game here (we highly recommend it!).
