Arc System Works have published the details of the differences between the different platform versions of Kill la Kill: IF.
In addition, scenes from the game’s first chapter were uploaded to Arc System Works’ official YouTube channel. You can view that above.
Meanwhile, the official website has updated with the details of the differences between the Windows PC (via Steam), Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 version. You can find a copy of that table below:

Note | There are no alterations to the game’s visuals (costumes and etc.) between the regions and platforms. |
In summary, the Nintendo Switch version is at 30 FPS while the other platforms are at 60. English and Japanese audio is supported across all versions. The Nintendo Switch does have local multiplayer, but not via multiplay through multiple consoles and game cards.
Most interesting of all is the final note indicating there will be no alterations or censorship, making special note of the characters costumes that can be quite revealing in some cases.
This comes as a surprise due to the recent and ongoing policy of Sony demanding PlayStation 4 titles must tone down sexual elements to meet “global standards“. The new policy was rumored for a few months prior to its confirmation and despite insistence from Sony Japan it is on case-by-case basis, it seems the policy is even in effect to games sold in any region- including Japan. This has affected the PlayStation 4 versions of games such as Omega Labyrinth Life and Dead or Alive Xtreme 3.
Kill la Kill: IF launches July 25th in Japan, and July 26th in North America and Europe; for Windows PC (via Steam), Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4.
