Bandai Namco has announced Bakutsuri Bar Hunter for Switch.

The new game is based on the trans-media franchise of the same name – news confirmed in the latest Monthly CoroCoro Comic (via Ryokutya2089).

A game set in the franchise was released for Nintendo 3DS last year, which utilizes the physical “Bakutsuri Bar Rod” fishing rod peripheral. It remains unclear if this Switch game is a port of the 3DS game, an entirely new release, and if it uses a peripheral of some kind.
