Publisher Idea Factory International has announced the western release dates for Date A Live: Rio Reincarnation.
The compilation release is launching for PlayStation 4 on June 18th in North America and on June 21st in Europe. The Windows PC version will be dated sometime later.
It’s worth reiterating that the western release will have two modified CGs, while the PC version will have all original CGs.
Date A Live: Rio Reincarnation is actually a collection that includes three visual novels: Date A Live: Rinne Utopia, Date A Live: Arusu Install, and Date A Live Twin Edition: Rio Reincarnation.
Here’s a rundown on the game:
A brand new character named Rio appears, who calls Shido “Papa” and is searching for the “most important thing.”
After having escaped nearly being trapped in a virtual reality, Shido is afflicted by a strange feeling.
A disturbance in the world in which he lives. Someone is out there… He cannot shake the helpless, uncomfortable feeling.
This strange feeling persists… A new paradise. A girl who has the same last name as Rinne──Rio Sonogami. The girl, along with Marina… for the sake of everyone’s happiness, they wander in search of “the most important thing.”
