Publisher Athlon Games and developer SNK have shared a new trailer for Samurai Shodown.

Featured above, the trailer introduces Nakoruru, and is the first in a series of character-focused introduction trailers for the upcoming fighting game.

Here’s a brief synopsis on the character:

The young Kamui warrior Nakoruru, a long-running staple of the Samurai Shodown universe, is here to show you her nature-inspired move set along with the help of her trusty pet hawk Mamahaha. Nakoruru will do anything to protect her beloved Mother Nature, and that includes death for those who dishonor her.

Samurai Shodown is set for a June 2019 release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, Q4 for Nintendo Switch, and “later” on Windows PC.
