Todd Howard: The Elder Scrolls VI and Starfield Won’t Be At E3 2019

Bethesda Softworks has confirmed their next two big flagship RPGs won’t be at this year’s E3.

During a PAX East livestream the developer confirmed neither The Elder Scrolls VI or Starfield will be at this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo. Bethesda game director and savior Todd Howard noted it’s too early to really show off either title.

It’s worth reiterating that both titles were shown off at last year’s Bethesda E3 showcase, which means their next annual E3 showcase might be a bit sparse this year.

Bethesda VP of marketing, Pete Hines, was quick to add that the development schedule for their core development team is mostly the same, meaning we’re at least two years away from the release of Starfield and four to five years away from the release of The Elder Scrolls VI.

The company does have other games coming out, however, like Rage 2, Doom Eternal, Wolfenstein: Youngblood, and even the new Elsweyr expansion for The Elder Scrolls Online.
