Sega to Recast Pierre Taki in Western Release for Judgment

Following the allegations of drug use, Sega has announced they’re recasting Japanese actor Pierre Taki in the western release of Judgment.

The actor, who played character Kyohei Hamura in the Japanese release for Judgment, will be recast with someone else. All screenshots and trailers featuring Hamura have been removed temporarily.

Previously, Taki had been arrested for alleged cocaine use, which is in violation of Japan’s drug control laws – the publisher also removed sales of the game in Japan for now.

Judgment is still on for a June 25th release on PlayStation 4, in the Americas and Europe.
