Square Enix has announced a new animated film based on the Dragon Quest franchise.

The new film is titled Dragon Quest: Your Story and it’s based on Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride. A premiere is set for August 2nd in Japan.

Key staff involved with the movie include series creator Yuji Horii as supervisor, Kouichi Sugiyama on music, Ryuichi Yagi, Makoto Hanafusa on direction, and Takashi Yamazaki on script and overall direction.
