Previously, we reported on a Nekopara getting an OVA special via a Kickstarter campaign. Now, we’ve learned a full anime series is planned for the franchise.

The developer behind the game, Neko Works, confirmed a full anime series is being produced as opposed to a single OVA special. The above poster was shared with the announcement.

For those unfamiliar with the series, Nekopara is a comedy and romance visual novel series in which you run a cafe assisted by catgirls.

In other news, ports of Nekopara Vol.2 for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch will launch in February 2019 for Japan.
