We’ve learned Atlus might be planning an HD-release of the original Catherine.
The news comes via a new rating by the Australian Classification board for “Catherine Classic,” suggesting the original version of the game might be getting an HD re-release. The rating lists the title being developed by Atlus, with Koch Media as the publisher (they handle EU releases for Atlus).
This is a bit odd considering Atlus and Sega are releasing Catherine: Full Body next year, an HD re-release of the game with a third heroine and other new features. Could this be a simple HD port of the non-enhanced version?
Catherine: Full Body is launching for PlayStation 4 and PS Vita on February 14th, 2019 in Japan. A western release is planned, but has no release date or release platforms yet.
