A new photo has surfaced (via IGN) for the upcoming Hollywood-made Monster Hunter movie.

Featured above, the new photo shows protagonist Natalie Artemis (Milla Jovavich) and The Hunter (Tony Jaa). A previous set of photos showed off Jovavich’s character with her soldiers.

Here’s a new synopsis for the movie:

Behind our world, there is another: a world of dangerous and powerful monsters that rule their domain with deadly ferocity. When Lt. Artemis (Milla Jovovich) and her loyal soldiers are transported from our world to the new world, the unflappable lieutenant receives the shock of her life. In her desperate battle for survival against enormous enemies with incredible powers and unstoppable, revolting attacks, Artemis will team up with a mysterious man who has found a way to fight back.

Originally announced back in 2016, the film is being directed and written by Paul W.S. Anderson, mostly known as the director on the live-action Resident Evil movies which Jovovich also starred in (Paul is also Milla’s husband). Jeremy Bolt (also worked on the Resident Evil movies as producer) is producing.

The last update we had prior to this was that filming was set for South Africa, mostly around Cape Town, with Constantin Film is handling production. A budget is reportedly set at $60 million, with Anderson framing the movie as a standalone movie.
