Undertale Creator Launches Mysterious New “Deltarune” Game Project

Undertale creator Toby Fox has just released a curious new project titled Deltarune.

While details are scant (and probably intentionally so), the game project appears to be seemingly related to Undertale – its name is an anagram of Undertale after all. Or maybe it isn’t?

Prior to the release of this new project, Fox noted that anyone who finished Undertale should check out the game’s Twitter handle later, adding “I want to make something new, and it all begins with your feedback. A Windows PC / MacOSX PC is needed.”

It’s worth mentioning the actual installer for Deltarune is named “Survey Program,” and even prior to installation, requires you “accept everything that will happen from now on.” Spooky. That message is written in all caps, by the way.

Whatever this new project is, it’s free to download.

Undertale is currently available for Windows PC, Mac, Linux, PS4, PS Vita, and Switch. In case you missed it, you can find our review for Undertale here (we highly recommend it).
