Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends Complete Edition DX Announced for Switch

Koei Tecmo has announced (via FamitsuDynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends Complete Edition DX for Switch.

The game includes all the previously released downloadable content, including new scenarios, costumes, and items, as well as the ability to share your save data with the buttload of other Warriors games on the Switch, and will be available via the eShop and at retail. A release date is set for December 27th in Japan.

Details for what bonuses you’ll get for having save data from the myriad of other Warriors titles will be announced at a later time.

Lastly, a western release for the game isn’t confirmed – and if the previous Switch ports for Dynasty Warriors 8: EmpiresSamurai Warriors: Spirit of Sanada, and Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate are anything to go by (they’re all still only available in Japan), it remains unclear if any Warriors games will be localized on the Switch.
