Blizzard Entertainment has announced World of Warcraft Classic will be playable at this year’s BlizzCon.

The classic release of their long-running MMORPG will be playable on the showfloor to all BlizzCon attendees. What’s more, the game will be playable to all purchasers of their BlizzCon Virtual Ticket, which essentially grants you access to their various livestreams, exclusive digital content, and more.

Purchasers of the Virtual Ticket will be able to download the demo of World of Warcraft Classic right after the opening ceremony on November 2nd, around 1 PM Pacific.

The demo includes a “limited questing experience” through a “pair of classic early-level zones,” one Horde and one Alliance of course.

Blizzard is touting the new version of the venerated MMORPG as a “recreation of the original Azeroth” that players enjoyed back in 2004. Once the demo is live and you have it downloaded, you can play it until November 8th at 10 AM Pacific.

The last time we heard about the classic version for World of Warcraft was back in June of this year – where Blizzard confirmed the game is based on the game’s 1.12 build.

This means the classic version is based on the last major patch the game received before its first expansion, The Burning Crusade, and includes fun things like Alterac Valley. Wall pulling here I come!
