Ubisoft has announced a remaster for Assassin’s Creed III.
The game is coming as part of the season pass for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, as well as via a standalone release on Windows PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The company is also remastering the game’s PS Vita spinoff, Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation.
While details are scant, Ubisoft is saying the remaster will naturally have improved visuals, as well as improved “gameplay mechanics” and “ergonomics.”
The remaster for the game is set for a release sometime in March of next year. Assassin’s Creed III was originally released for Windows PC, Wii U, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 back in 2012.
Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is launching across Windows PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on October 5th.
