Nintendo has announced a delay for their planned Nintendo Direct.
The broadcast is being postponed due to a powerful earthquake that hit the Hokkaido region today.
“Due to the powerful earthquake in Hokkaido, Japan, we have decided to delay this week’s planned Nintendo Direct,” Nintendo said in a tweet update. “We will provide a new time and date in the near future. Thank you for your understanding.”

Nintendo has announced a new Nintendo Direct for this week.
The new broadcast will go live on September 6th at 3 PM Pacific / 6 PM Eastern. Nintendo noted the new 35 minute presentation will focus on “upcoming Switch and 3DS titles.”
