It has been confirmed via their social media that Octopath Traveler has shipped over one million copies globally.

The official Japanese Twitter account for the game (@OCTOPATH_PR) posted a message of thanks and some artwork:

We’ve topped 1 million in worldwide shipments and digital sales.
We’re very grateful and it brings tears to our eyes.

And thank you for your continued support for Octopath Traveler.

Nintendo of Europe also shared out their gratitude.
