BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle Producer Wants 2B and 9S from NieR: Automata in Game Roster

While the playable roster of fighters in BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle is already quite robust with characters from BlazBlue, RWBY, Shin Megami Tensei: Persona, and Under Night In-Birth, the game’s producer hasn’t stopped eyeing up more game franchises to add.

A new interview (via Forbes) with BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle producer Toshimichi Mori had the game boss questioned what he’s been playing recently. He said he is really into NieR: Automata, and most especially its protagonists 2B and 9S.

“As far as playing games go… recently, right? I’ve been playing Nier: Automata again. Of course, I beat it a while ago on PS4, but I saw it on Steam. On sale. That game is really well done. I’ve still got a lot to learn from it,” he said.

His next statement is really interesting, if not simply a joke: “Hey, we should release 2B and 9S on BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle. Yeah, that would be good. I would want to play that. Should I ask them? Haha.”
