Sega Might Consider Porting Yakuza 3, 4, and 5 to PS4, if There is Demand

While Yakuza 6: The Song of Life has just launched for PlayStation 4 in the west, newcomers to the series who only own a PlayStation 4 currently only have access to the first title in the series (with Yakuza: Kiwami).

Now, a new interview with Yakuza series producer Daisuke Saito and PlayStation Access suggests the missing titles could be ported to PS4 as well.

When asked if Yakuza 3, Yakuza 4, and Yakuza 5 (which are currently only available on PlayStation 3) could make it to Sony’s latest home console, Saito noted that “if we get a lot of requests to make them, we may consider it.”

It’s worth pointing out the modern remake for Yakuza 2, known as Yakuza Kiwami 2, is set for an August 28th release here in the west.

If you want to let Sega and the Yakuza team know you want to have the missing games ported to PlayStation 4, make sure to Tweet at the Yakuza team and Tweet to Sega (here for Japan), as well as other forms of social media.
