Over eight years since it first launched, Sony has announced they’re cutting back the free games included with their PlayStation Plus membership.
The change will happen on March 8th of next year, where PlayStation 3 and PS Vita games will no longer be included in the monthly lineup of free titles.
Furthermore, Sony is limiting the number of free PlayStation 4 games despite saying they’re focusing on the platform now – meaning only two PS4 titles will be offered a month, compared to the usual 4-6 titles seen before across all three platforms.
Could this be the first nail in the coffin for both of the older gaming consoles? Sound off in the comments below!
