While Takara Tomy released the odd MOBA spinoff Zoids: Fields of Rebellion last year in Japan, they’ve announced the first new Zoids series in over a decade.

The new series is titled Zoids Wild, and it includes a new line of toys, a TV anime launching this summer in Japan, a comic, a smartphone app, and finally a Nintendo Switch game.

First to arrive from the series is the new toy series, which are focused around building a new life-form – each of which having a unique mechanic called a “Wild Blast.” Confirmed toys thus far include the Gilraptor and the Wild Liger. A release is set for June in Japan, and each Zoid will cost 3,000 yen.

The TV anime will premiere on MBS TV and other networks.

Finally, a Nintendo Switch game was confirmed – however further details weren’t announced.
