Microsoft has announced the release date for Age of Empires: Definitive Edition.
The legendary strategy game is coming in high-definition glory to Windows PC (a Windows 10 exclusive) on October 19th. Featured above, you can view a new trailer showcasing the remaster’s visuals, from this year’s Gamescom expo.
Here are the key features in the remaster:
- Fully remastered visuals in 4K UHD
- New Zoom Levels
- New and improved gameplay
- Xbox Live multiplayer
- Fully remastered soundtrack
- Age of Empires: The Rise of Rome expansion
There’s some new features confirmed now as well:
- Attack Move
- 250-300 population cap
- Rally Points Basic
- Rally Points Contextual (Intelligent Villagers)
- Grid default key layout
- Select Idle Military
- Select Idle Villagers
- Unit queueing
- Right-click mouse scroll
