Following the original delay into this year, we’ve learned Crackdown 3 is being delayed a second time into next spring.

The game will forgo its planned November 7th release for one sometime next spring. Microsoft Studios Publishing’s general manager Shannon Loftis confirmed the delay in an interview with Polygon. Loftis noted the delay was agreed upon to get the developers more time to further polish the game.

“We want to make sure to deliver the right game, with the right quality, and at the right time. Crackdown 3 is a hugely ambitious game and we want to ensure we deliver the right experiences all the way through every part of the game,” Loftis said.

Once finished, Crackdown 3 will launch for PC and Xbox One.
