• Lady Layton Gets Rebranded to Layton’s Mystery Journey, Worldwide Launch Set for July 20

    Level-5 has announced the release date and a new name for Lady Layton: The Millionaire Ariadone’s Conspiracy.

    The game will be known as Layton’s Mystery Journey: Katrielle and The Millionaire’s Conspiracy, and it will launch for mobile devices worldwide on July 20th of this year.


    Featured above, you can view a new trailer for the game from yesterday’s Nintendo Direct (Editor’s Note: There’s only a Japanese version currently). The Nintendo 3DS version will cost 4,800 yen and the mobile versions will cost 1,900 yen with in-app purchases (Note: You can beat the game without making any in-app purchases).

    A western release for the Nintendo 3DS version seems to be planned as well, as the press release says the game will launch in Japan first.
