Dragon Quest XI Launches for PS4, 3DS on July 29

Square Enix has announced the release date for Dragon Quest XI.

The latest in their ongoing RPG franchise will launch for PlayStation 4 and the Nintendo 3DS on July 29th in Japan.

If you buy an early copy of the game, you’ll get the “Vest of Happiness,” which increases the experience points you receive after completing a battle, as well as the “Kickstart Vest,” which increases the amount of gold you receive after battles. Here’s a look at both:

The publisher also announced a “Hero’s Sword Box” double pack, which includes both the PlayStation 4 and 3DS versions, and will be sold exclusively on the Square Enix store and Lawson HMV Stores, for 14,960 yen. Here’s a look at that:

Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan Asia and Nintendo are both planning hardware bundles for Dragon Quest XI as well.
