Niche Gamer Plays – Anima: Gate of Memories Part 1

Niche Gamer Plays is an ongoing video preview series where our staff take an in-depth and yet concise look at classic, current, and upcoming games across all current gaming platforms.

Normally, when reviewing games we end up playing games for a long time. So to break up the play session a bit, we did it live and interacted with people who popped in to watch. With that said, here is Part 1 of my Anima: Gate of Memories playthrough. All 7 hours and 26 minutes of it.

If you are interested in the game, please check out our unboxing of the game’s Beyond Fantasy Edition physical release.

Anima: Gate of Memories is currently available for PC (via Steam), PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

Looks bad, but that’s OK. I bought it anyway.

I already bought it last year and still didn’t play it. Being a wagecuck sucks.

I almost got this game just because I really dig the tabletop of it. (Setting up an IRL game of it right now). But the game itself didn’t look all that fun.
