Full Disclosure: I have financially backed Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night on Kickstarter.
We’ve learned (via Nintendo Everything) that Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is coming to the Nintendo Switch.
The news comes from a Nintendo Switch news prompt sent to European users, which has a big list of upcoming games. Among those 60+ game logos is the Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night logo, which joins the roster of games confirmed last week.
It remains to be seen if the game’s Wii U version will be dropped in favor of the Nintendo Switch, considering it was a stretch goal in its Kickstarter campaign. Inti Creates and Castlevania creator Koji Igarashi (who is heading the Bloodstained project) could follow the Yooka-Laylee team, by offering full refunds to backers expecting the Wii U version.
Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is also coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Wii U, PC, Mac, Linux, and PS Vita in the first half of 2018.
