Square Enix Teases PC Release, PC-Exclusive Features for Final Fantasy XV

The latest Famitsu (via Hachima) had an interview with Final Fantasy XV director Hajime Tabata, where he talked up the game’s reception post-launch.

The most interesting tidbit from the interview is where the Square Enix boss teased a potential PC version for the game. Let the salt flow:

“I want to release the game on PC, from a technical perspective,” Tabata said. “I want to show off Final Fantasy XV running on high-end PC hardware, for PC users, and it’s something we personally want to see as well.

“I also want to try developing more on PC to look into making PC-exclusive features, like building your own questlines and even modding the game world.”

In related news, Tabata recently confirmed the game not only sold very well, it even recouped its development costs on day one.

Final Fantasy XV is available now on PS4 and Xbox One. In case you missed it, you should check out our written and video review for the game here.
