In this week’s Famitsu, producer Shinji Hashimoto revealed that Square Enix’s plans for the 30th anniversary of Final Fantasy will be unveiled in the coming days. As we previously covered here, these plans may have been leaked.
If correct, plans for the 30th anniversary include remasters of Final Fantasy I-IX on PS4 and Vita, XII and XIII trilogy remasters for PS4, and the release of the first episode of Final Fantasy VII Remake on PS4. A
long with this, PC users may be getting Final Fantasy I and II, Final Fantasy XII, Final Fantasy Tactics, and Chrono Trigger next year, with Final Fantasy XV and Final Fantasy 7 Remake coming to PCs in 2018.
We’ll be able to see for ourselves if the rumors are true within the next few weeks.
